Personal Care Services
Our services are designed to promote independence, dignity, and safety while allowing individuals to remain active members of their community. These include:
Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Help with walking, transfers, and mobility
Support with eating and meal preparation
Light housekeeping related to health and safety
Medication reminders only (no administration)
Personal hygiene and basic skin care
Assistance with essential errands, as authorized
Help maintaining a safe home environment
Caregiver respite, when covered by the waiver
Consumer-Directed Services option, when available
Who Pays for Personal Care Services?
Personal Care Attendant services may be covered by Texas Medicaid waiver programs for individuals who qualify. If you are eligible and your services are approved under a Medicaid waiver, there is usually no out-of-pocket cost to you.
If you do not qualify for Medicaid or would like more flexibility in your care, private pay options are also available. Our team is happy to help you understand your coverage, check eligibility, and walk you through your options so you can choose what works best for you and your family.
